This episode has Sarah Jane meet Jo Grant. However it is under sad circumstances. The Doctor is supposedly dead. However both Sarah Jane & Jo are right in not believing that he is gone. So atleast Sarah Jane goes to the funeral to discover what is going on.
Sarah Jane & Jo are right and they have an adventure with the 11th Doctor to stop the Shansheeths plot to get rid of death. Clyde and Rani along with Jo's grandson get to meet the 11th Doctor.

The Doctor, seems like to show-off at times to his younger friends. We all know that Timelords have one life but can regenerate twelve times - but when asked how many times can he change, he quickly says, "Five hundred and seven." Remember, in the episode - "The Impossible Astronaut," he was doing something special and he said to Amy, River, and Rory who was under the TARDIS concole "...and there's no one around to be amazed, what's the point on having you here?"

I remember Andy. You can also look at it another way too. 5+0+7 = 12. Him just being clever

I thought about that, and I was wondering if you caught that too.

I loved these episodes, especially when Jo objects to how young the Doctor looks now, and he shoots back "You look like someone baked you!" Their shocked, horrified expressions--and the Doctor's smirk--were priceless.
