Back in the 60s, a Mr. Sydney Newman came up with the idea of a show that we all know and love as Doctor Who, and it's producer at the time was Mrs. Verity Lambert. They may have been known as the "Unofficial parrents" of the show that has lasted now to the present day. Near the end of "The End of Time - pt. 2," as The Doctor was seeing old faces for the last time before he would regenerate, he went to a bookstore to see an author who just had her new book published and at that book signing, was the decendent of the woman he was involved with when he was hiding from "The Family of Blood." And her name was Verity Newman. It's good to see that they were able to have some way of honoring the two of them in the show and if they were alive today, I'll bet they would be proud of that gesture.
