Played By : Jon Pertwee Companions :Liz Shaw, Jo Grant, Sarah Jane Smith The Third Doctor was the third incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor. I've met Jon Pertwee at "Whovent 85",when he was here with Colin Baker, Jannet Fielding, Anthony Ainley, John Leviene, Nicole Bryant, Terry Walsh (stunt man) and Carol Ann Ford when they had the conventions in Valley Forge, PA. Fans were able to chat with him and I remember having a great time talking with him for a good 12 minuets. I had tickets for the caberet that evening with him and all that were there and he closed the show with songs, stories and performances that I'll remember forever. I was also able to have him sign my copy of his autobiography "Moon Boots and Dinner Suits.' He was the "James Bond" Doctor as he use to say- with gadgets, car chases, action scenes in his years of the show and he loved it. After the accidentel death of his good friend- Roger Delgado (The Master) and other people leaving to go on to other things, he thought it was also his time to go. Of all of the actors I've ever met from the show, he will always be my favorite Doctor.
