In his 10th incarnation the Doctor had many interesting adventures.
His 10th incarnation is reunited with Sarah Jane Smith when they both are investigating the same school. After this adventure they part ways again but its not the last they see of each other.
In his 10th incarnation he also had many adventures without companions yet he made alot of new friends on these adventures.
The end of his 10th incarnation came when he saved Donna Noble's grandad Wilfred Mott from death. As he was dying and regenerating he went back and visited all past companions (as stated by 11 to Jo Grant in Death of a Doctor) we see some of the most recent on film.
